We won’t stop fighting to end genocide
Too often, resistance is treated like a moment: a protest, a statement, a spike of outrage after a horrific headline. But real change doesn’t come from moments alone. It comes from sustained pressure — applied strategically, relentlessly, and where it matters most.
That is what this campaign is about.
At No Business With Genocide, we believe there must be no business as usual when corporations profit from violence, repression, or mass atrocities — and no free pass for lawmakers who enable that system through inaction. History shows us that genocide and mass atrocities do not happen in a vacuum. They are made possible by political choices, corporate complicity, and the absence of accountability.
Pressure changes that.
Why We Apply Pressure — and Where
Corporations do not change course simply because it is the right thing to do. They change when public pressure threatens their profits, their reputations, and their ability to operate without scrutiny. Likewise, Congress rarely acts without sustained public demand — especially when powerful corporate interests are involved.
That’s why our work targets both:
- Corporations whose money, partnerships, or silence enable violence and human rights abuses
- Congress, which has the power — and responsibility — to regulate, sanction, and hold those actors accountable
From organizing actions and amplifying public demands, to coordinating advocacy and keeping issues in the spotlight long after the news cycle moves on, this work requires resources. Pressure only works if it doesn’t let up.
What This Campaign Supports
This fundraiser helps sustain the day-to-day work that keeps accountability alive, including:
- Ongoing advocacy targeting corporate complicity
- Strategic pressure campaigns that demand ethical disengagement from violence
- Congressional outreach and public accountability efforts
- Communications and organizing that keep these issues visible and urgent
In short, it funds the infrastructure of resistance — the unglamorous but essential work that turns public outrage into real consequences.
Your Voice Matters
We work to lift up the voices of our supporters. When our elected officials hear from their constituents, it impacts how they vote. When corporations hear from their customers, it impacts how they operate. Everything we do is designed to lift and amplify our supporters’ voices. Nothing happens without you.
Why It Matters
Around the world, genocide and mass atrocities are enabled not only by armed actors, but by financial ties, political cover, and corporate indifference. When companies continue to profit and governments continue to stall, violence becomes normalized.
We reject that.
Pressure has a track record. It has forced corporations to sever harmful ties. It has pushed lawmakers to act where they once refused. And it has shown, again and again, that organized people can confront organized power.
But only if the pressure continues.
Keep the Pressure Up
This campaign is an invitation to be part of that sustained effort — to ensure there is no business as usual in the face of genocide and mass atrocities.
If you are able, please contribute to help us keep pressure up on corporations and Congress alike. If you can’t donate right now, sharing this campaign still makes a difference.
